This is one ordeal that I personally believe in very much, that: Whatever it is that you put your faith in, in its absolute completion, it shall be made into your reality.
It has been drawn to my attention how we tend to have such HUGE dreams and prayers, yet lack the faith to back them up! It seems we spend our days hoping that something will magically happen which will make the prayer materialise. So not true! More than anything faith is strengthened by our actions. For instance, let’s say you have been praying about getting those A’s at school you need to extend your faith in that because that’s what you want, you believe that’s how it is and therefore you live accordingly…
Say you head to the mall, go into your absolute favourite store and pick that garment that you all-of-a-sudden can’t live without. You check the price and you see that it’s within your budget so you join the que. Only when it’s your turn to pay you remember that you forgot to withdraw your money and learn the store works on a cash-only basis. Aaah man! But you see? You don’t even get too bothered because you have the KNOWLEDGE and are ASSURED that you have that money. So it doesn’t matter that it’s not physically present at that point in time… Very similarly, having faith in something should remain your assurance that you have that particular thing ALREADY so you live and reason according to that reality.
“Faith is the confidence that what we hoped for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see” Hebrews 11:1 NLT
