My Testimony

on

This post is looooong overdue!! One Sunday we had a testimony Sunday at church and I was one of the bretheren who shared their testimony with the whole church. Now if you’ve been reading the articles I’ve been posting then you know part of the contents of my testimony. I have copied and pasted the very same testimony I shared during that testimony Sunday. I pray that it strengthens your faith and belief in God and His ability to do all!!

I would love to observe all protocol and collectively greet the whole church, the body of Christ! My testimony magnifies God’s Lordship and His ability to carry His people at all times.

I remember in the first few months I chose to hand my life back to God, I loved asking God to be a living testimony. This year that prayer was answered and made to materialize.

A few months ago, 5 months more precisely, me and my mother (Phuti Chonco) were involved in a tragic and fatal car accident. Where unfortunately mama passed and I was in an induced coma for a whole month. I had no idea where I was when I gained consciousness and why I was there was beyond me. I then stayed in the hospital for another month and each day I learnt the full story.
Accecpting mama’s death was not very difficult simply because the whole family and me feel as though mama gave her very best. I learnt that it’s very easy to let go of some whom you feel has achieved exactly what they were there for.

God continues to carry me and my family and remains our biggest comforter and friend. My recovery has proven to be a testimony of that too! My recovery has been so good and speedy. It’s hard to believe that it was this very year I couldn’t walk or even talk. There’s a scripture that was made real throughout all of this, it’s found in Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”. I’m so grateful for everyone that stood in one accord in prayer for my life and recovery, your prayers were not in vain I am a testimony of how God really answers prayers! Thank you and God bless you.

I want God to be glorified through this testimony so I’ll say it everywhere I go! Thank you.
